Michael and Enid Hooton
The pastor,
Michael Hooton. As
well as generally overseeing the life and work of the church, Michael's
main ministry is Bible-teaching, which is an important part of our life
as a church. His summary of his own role is: "Someone once said
that I 'bring the Bible to life'. I don't! The Bible doesn't
need bringing to life - it isn’t dead! I just help people to see how
alive the
Bible really is - and how alive we can become the
deeper we dig into it."

Alongside the pastor, we have a team of six leaders:
Adam Corns and Sue Smith, our evangelism leaders;
Claire Brindley, our children's and youth leader;
Margaret Wilkinson, our pastoral leader;
Margaret Stevens, our treasurer (who also leads our new disciples group);
and Virginia Gretton, our secretary.
