Michael and Enid Hooton
The pastor, Michael Hooton. As
well as generally overseeing the life and work of the church, Michael's
main ministry is Bible-teaching, which is an important part of our life
as a church. His summary of his own role is: "Someone once said
that I 'bring the Bible to life'. I don't! The Bible doesn't
need bringing to life - it isn’t dead! I just help people to see how
alive the
Bible really is - and how alive we can become the
deeper we dig into it." Michael can be contacted with any questions or concerns about the spiritual

Alongside the pastor,
we have a team of five leaders: our secretary, Virginia
Gretton; our treasurer, Stuart Walker; Adam Corns, Sue Smith and Margaret Wilkinson.
Adam and Sue are especially involved in the nurture of new believers
and new church members. Margaret has a particular ministry as one of
the key pastoral carers of the church.
